Start with a sprint

We strongly believe in collaborating closely with organizations in audits and design sprints to define the circular experience for their customers. We make concepts tangible early in the process to validate and optimize them with real customers.

Circular Audit

Duration: 2 weeks | On site or remote

This audit was developed to offer organizations an easy first step towards circularity. It includes diagnostics of your organizations capacity for circular design and potential for circular business models. It results in a presentation of the audit report.

Circular audit

A circular audit of your company in 4 steps

Step#1
Background research of the company

Gathering base materials that help to understand the business and the organization.

Step#2
On-site visit / interviews with key people

Interviewing the management, product developers, production and sales staff to discuss and learn circular design specific questions. On-site visit is beneficial but it is also possible to gather local insights from a distance.

Step#3
Analysing the gathered information

Processing all the information and structuring it in two dimensions: organisational capacity and circular design strategies.

Step#4
Reporting back to the company

Introducing the findings about circular design capacity and circular service opportunities to spark new ideas.

Circular Service Design Sprint

Duration: 4 weeks | Workshops: On location or online

This sprint was developed in collaboration with the design centers of the Baltic Sea Region and the Interreg Baltic Sea Region (BSR) Programme of the European Union. It includes an audit of your organizations capacity for circular design and a three day workshop. It results in a service design map and a service sample for validation with your customers.

Circular Service Design Sprint

A validated concept in only 4 weeks

Week#1
Audit

Based on a range of interviews with you and your staff we create an audit report that describes the capacity and the potential fields of action of your company for a circular service.

Week#2
Ideation

In a two day workshop with you and your team, we develop a wide range of ideas for circular services and prioritize them by their benefit for your customers, the environment and your business.

Week#3
Design

Based on the highest-ranking idea from week#2, we develop a map of the circular service and a tangible sample of a core feature, e.g. a digital click dummy. In a final workshop we present and discuss the concept with you and define a potential roadmap for implementation.

Week#4
Validation

Based on the service design map and the sample of the core feature the concept is validated with a panel of your customers. Their feedback is processed into the final briefing document which kick starts the actual implementation of the service.
